I wonder what the chances are of seeing this come to the US....call it a pipe dream, but maybe this is the "special edition" M3 thats supposed to be coming this summer.

It's like calling Oprah a 'light weight'... compared to whom? Christie Alley? What a joke. All that car seems to have is lightweight seats; everything else looks the same. Plus not even CF roof. Oh, and the ZCP wheels are heavier than the 220s.
Guess BMW is trying Porche's trick of charging you more for less . Good luck with that. |

It's a concept and a test vehicle. That's why it has a moonroof and that's why we don't know exactly what's done to it, clearly that's an 08 model used for testing, stop complaining about something that's not out yet and which we don't know to much about

BMW is gonna fail with this car again. Just trying to give it that final kick before the car is done. All they are going to do is change the seats, hood, different interior color?, and take the ZCP suspension and call it a day. Lame if you ask me but I will bet that is what they do. oh and it wont be coming to the US.

Still has the stock 50# muffler, not the BMW Performance one.

The sedan only weights 22lbs more than the coupe.
M3Coupe 3704lbs M3Sedan 3726lbs It seems like with the lightweight parts the sedan will weight less than a coupe.

Why wouldn't BMW just make a csl type lightweight for the e90. It wouldn't probably sell well , so maybe that's why.

i personally like the lip and spoiler and would happily plonk both on my car, interesting that the power will be between a standard M3 and the GTS, wonder if that implies pricing will be inbetween as well!

we all know when bmw releases a "speciail edition" such as this that it will sell out in no time, i dont get why people think this car wont sell even with such small things done to it, this will sell out in no time just like every other limited car theyve made, just look how fast the gts sold!

How do you know what BMW is going to do? This reminds me of the M3 GTS, when bimmerpost posted up the first spyshots and everyone laughed at bmw and admins, saying how it was just a modded up car with a big rear wing.. Of course BMW shut every critic up and then some. I smell a repeat.
