My interior squeaks really bad

I bought a 2008 CPO E90 M3 and every time that I pull out of my garage or go over a speedbump, etc the interior squeaks and it is very annoying. I've heard this occurs in some Cadillac CTS-V's but I do not expect this from any BMW. This is my 3rd BMW and my second e90M and I never had this problem before. Any idea what it could be? Flood damage, etc? Carfax is not always accurate.

Is the squeak coming from the center of your dash? Right underneath the windshield?

Does it squeak when you drive over uneven surfaces at an angle? (i.e. pulling out of a driveway)

I had this exact problem in my previous E90 335i and it turned out to be two braces that were loose under the hood. They ran from the strut towers to the center of the firewall. Have your dealer check them out. It was a 30 min fix and I was out the door.

Good luck!

Yes it squeaks on uneven surfaces and angles. Thanks for the suggestion, I will have the dealer check it out.

Check the rattle sticky. There are many of us that had an issue like this and you may find something useful there.

many cars are going to make noise, hate to say it. Turn the tunes up and throw an exhaust on, that's what I did.

Your hearing is just bad Sean..

If its any consolation, my 997S had rattles to. If you want to play you got to pay. Stiffly suspended cars will rattle sooner or later.

Here's one I got that tops the mother of all rattles and squeaks....when driving over certain lane dividers at less than 40 mph (those round ones especially and not spaced far apart), i get this VERY LOUD vibration and buzzing from the dash area...like its louder than my music and exhaust...sounds like someone took a jackhammer and is pounding my dash for like 5 seconds or the time it takes to cross the lane...

i have no idea what it is but i suspect its somewhere behind the cupholders or glovebox...someone once mentioned he felted a metal bar or something behind the glovebox and that fixed it but i havent tried it yet

the dealer heard it said it was the cupholders and they felted those but no fix
