That was the best I could eek out. I was doing pretty good until my asian genes kicked in and started trying to drift the tighter corners. I'm sure the corner workers were probably like..."who's this clown?".

I dropped two wheels and still managed 1:55.

EDIT...ended up cording my 2 front tires as well.

I'll play - just as Richard leaves town so I can knock him off the top spot...and in a lowly E46...sorry I had to go there...

Just don't go setting any blazing laps this weekend Richard or else I'll have to remove some ballast and kick things up a notch...

Almost under 2 min. Next time!

I'm still learning how the car handles, slides, bites in the turns, etc.

MSRH CW 1:49 in my E46 330. I'll admit, probably closer to a 1:49.9.

Yes, the same 330 that is being towed from the track today...but it broke 1:50 and its not on fire. Happy!

Good run! My best was 1:54:17.

I probably could've carried more speed through carousel, but the mid track spin on pit straight during the second session on saturday made me a bit nervous for the rest of the weekend.

Good luck with car!

Thx...and thanks for your help! I could have fixed it at the track if I hadn't installed the zionsville radiator. Now I have to take the radiator out to get to alternator bolts out.

I hate the bumps going through T1. I always turn in late and sharp, cut across the curbs on the right (almost on the grass) which allows me avoid the bumps. Bad part is you track out really far down the track and losing some time.

you spun near the pit wall? if so, wow glad nothing happened. I would have been nervous/cautious too.

I got loose coming out of 1. Tried to catch it and overcorrected and started into a tank slapper. I was far enough from wall that my best option was to put "2 feet in" rather than risk losing it into the wall.

That's an excellent call. Which probably means you went through the carousel thinking ahead. That's what I'm thinking about in the middle.

I think the phrase over the weekend was "making a pyramid in your pants"?

TWS CCW 1:59:97 in da 330. First session too! Another f'ing coil pack died...did a lot of 2:00s and 2:01s. Couldn't get back below 2:00. My car likes the cold air! It was 55 degrees in the first session...80s by the 3rd/4th session.

Looking to beat my 1:52 CCW at MSRH with my last track event in Texas for awhile. in Nov.

1:27:06 - MSR 1.7CW...that was with some cooked exhaust valves, the head lifting and down on power. If only I could get my car to work right on a cool, dry track day

I'll be posting a COTA laptime sometime in late Mar

Shaved 5 seconds off September's time, and learned the importance of a heel-toe downshift coming from Gut Check into Turn 17.
