Los Angeles/Irvine nightview points
It looks like I may be meeting someone "possibly significant" in LA in a month or so. So my hw begins of what to do and such when I go visit her.
Can you guys help out this fellow forum pal with some activities, restaurants? I am not sure what she likes for food yet but most likely all girls eat anything lol And any romantic nightview points to look down on the city of angels? Thanks for the pointers!

Don't spend big bucks on a first date, particularly if it's a blind date.
Find out what she likes to eat and tell us where in LA you'll be.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

There are tons of places in Orange County/Irvine. You can go to a place like the Block of Orange or the Spectrum for lots of places to eat and even a place to walk around, grab a drink at a bar, or even watch a movie.

Summit House is good, but not a fan of the atmosphere.
I wouldn't do anything too expensive. I'd suggest Aroma Cafe off of Sunset Blvd in Hollywood because of the cool atmosphere, not too expensive and amazing fruit tart

Been to Summit and Yamashiro. Both good suggestions but I like the food at Summit better. But better than both of those is Orange Hill in Orange. They have a nice patio to sit out and have drinks and I enjoy the view better.
Aroma Cafe isn't as romantic or classy but certainly a good place to go socialize and girls love the desserts. Something that would be more fun would be a place like one of the many Gyu Kaku restaurants where you can grill some meats and interact more with each other. They also have an awesome happy hour...

The resturant on the top of the Huntley Hotel in Santa Monica is good, and has a nice view. I'd pass on the viuew and go for something with a cooler feel, maybe like Nobu in West Hollywood or Bond St in Beverly Hills.

Haha, my friends dad owns the Huntley in Santa Monica. Been to the restaurant/bar many times and I can definately say it is good and has a nice view. If you want a nice view, can't top 1800 blue heights in hollywood above sunset plaza. Hands down best view in LA.

Avila's El Ranchito at Santa Ana - awesome mexican/american food. Kick ass margaritas and great food
OK.. maybe not (do go on a different occasion though) Few recommendations in OC Andrea's Restaurant at the Pelican Hill - absolutely amazing food and view of the pacific coast and the golf course right in the heart of beautiful Newport Coast. Javiers at Crystal Cove - also at Newport Coast. I have not been there personally but looks like a great spot with a great view. Orange Hill Restaurant in Orange, CA. Slightly less bling but the view is great and the fire pits + a bottle of wine outside looking at most of western OC is great
