error: roof impaired & Hard top can not lock

has anyone gotten this error code in their E93? brought it into the dealer, when the top is up there are no issues, only when you try to drop the top does it give you the code of death..

any help would be appreciated. .

Are you dropping the top on an even surface? I heard if the ground is not level you will get this error..

yes.. i am - at first this error would pop up once every 20 times, and then suddenly it wouldnt go away..

i was told it could be a sensor, a roof that needs alighnment, i sincerely hope its nothing, i dont want to be out of a car for 3 weeks.
