Our 2002 745Li, has its engine, transmission replaced at only 85,000 KM, my lawyers had the same 745s and they went through the same things, infact they sued bmw and then got compensated and got the 760s

Which is why 2002/2003 745Li's got 6yr/160KM Extended Warranty in order to retain customer loyalty.

But the 760Li V12 motors have been solid throughout , even the E38 750il V12 was a good car too

and just to put things in prospective my winter beater the 1993 lexus gs300 just touched 400,000KM original engine and tranny
