What was your hardest option decision when ordering?

Just wondering. For me, the only real decision came down to weather I wanted a sun roof or CF. The transmission, colour (Although now I would have to have considered MR) and interior trims and so forth were all very straightforward.

What about you guys?

Comp Package. My eyes told me the 19s were the way to go but my brain insisted on the 18s

Color. Interlagos is a wonderful color, and I wouldn't mind Mineral White, but ultimately I knew if I didn't own it in Jerez, I would regret it every time I ever saw a Jerez E92 in the future.

I also went back and forth about Extended Leather in Black Novillo. Nothing wrong with black, of course, but the $1100 for Extended was a tough choice. Ultimately, the plastic look turned me off, when compared to the Extended. It is like one of those things that once I see, I can't imagine not having it on the car.

+1 on that, I didn't even bother with other colours because I wanted Jerez. And extended leather, for me, the $1100 was peanuts.. Same with individual audio, because even if I have it and never use it at least I wouldn't regret not having got it.

Color for sure. I went with AW and I love it. But I love black and space grey. Id also love one in monte carlo blue or fire orange.... so many sick colors.

Jet Black. It was definitely a love/hate decision. I knew I wanted it, but I also knew it would only look good immediately after cleaning it.

None... It is the aftermarket options what I have many problems with making a decision... I just bought an E92, Melbourne Red, CF roof, DCT, fully loaded... But changing exhaust, wheels or even brakes is something where I change my mind on a daily basis... Today, I think on not changing anything. Tomorrow it may be a different story

This is the thing (although many will tell you that you can get better sound with the standard HiFi + upgrades)...once you skip on an option, it can be expensive or very difficult/impossible to retrofit. I figure play it safe and get everything you can ever see yourself wanting, even 10 years down the road.

Not saying that the upgrades/options will ever fully be recovered via resale price, but hardly no one turns down a used car because it has too many factory options. But you could miss out on a (re)sale entirely, if it's missing some of the popular ones like Nav, or even ZCP.

Transmission. Went with DCT b/c gf can drive it and there were so few convertibles left that I had to settle. I'm so glad I got it though, I feel that the DCT allows me to better experience the full potential of the car.

I agree I am selling my Audi S5 and because it didn't have some differential option (not available when I bought it) a buyer backed off from buying it...

Collor. Went with Jerez again cause it is awsome when clean. Zpp was the next question, but went with it. Wanted the factory supercharger option, couldn't find it on the 2012 order form. lol!

I knew exactly what I wanted, when I got the car. I think the really hard choices come after you have the car and want to start modifying it, especially when it comes down to picking an exhaust

Colour by far (exterior). I loved Fox Red interior... no brainer to me and got the car loaded. The only issue was white, black or blue.
