Yeah, not worth it. It will take away all the convenience of having an indoor spot if you have to worry about getting it out all the time.

You must have a pretty sick job lined up to afford that. Even $1000/month is a lot for 1 person and in reality probably more like $1500/month when you include expenses.

We were just in Boston a couple weeks ago, went to hit up the club Mansion but the line was rediculous so we went to a Latin club instead. It's a pretty nice town, I don't like how the streets are laid out but it gives the town some character.

Well after taxes an entry level job should be about $2600+ a month so $1000 towards rent isn't bad I don't think. The rent includes water and heat so all I'd have to pay is electric and right now that's only $70-$90 and that's in Florida with the a/c constantly running. I don't need renter's insurance anymore it says unless I have a waterbed or fish tank and I'm going to have to get rid of my fish so I'm fine with that. Cable tv/internet half of that is like $60. Can't really think of anything else apt related that would add up to $500 extra?

thanks, no it is not the same bf. my current bf and i went to highschool together and were friends and when i moved to florida he moved to boston. we started dating in december last year when my bf and i broke up and so i'm moving up to be with him among the other reasons.

Hey....that's where I live. Are you going to be in 225 n ave or 1 park lane?

You'll be neighbors with Robert Parish and some members of the Sox. Look for a silver m3 and silver e55 parked next to each other

Oh, word of advice. You don't want to park your car in an open parking lot overnight in southie. A few tenants have had their cars broken into. You're better off parking in the public spots around the complex.

That or pay $530/mo for parking like i do.

yep, the actual engineering work for the big dig was done over 2 years ago..... i was working at bechtel for my uncle a few summers ago doing slave budget work... 98-99% of the project is done. all that's left now is some minor construction jobs and about 5-7 new parks in the city that are being delayed because they don't know who is going to take care of them once they're built

Na I just meant real world costs including food, parking, entertainment, cable, electricity, apartment dues (if any), etc. I just tend to think in the whole picture because I'm big investing my money.

Good luck though should be a dope pad.

I have a friend who's job wants to relocate him to Boston and will pay 50% of his mortgage up to $5000/month! It's like getting a raise + having them give you equity at the same time.

I agree with that!! I have yankee plates on my car. I will NEVER drive my car up to boston. I will rent a car if I ever head up there. New York fans will never beat on a Boston fan...but you know how them red sox fans are. They a great deal of hate toward us Yankee fans...but you can't blame them....It sucks to not be able to win the World Series that easily =P

oh yeah i got that all budgeted and it worked out fine. with all set expenses i'm at $1520 and then including $800-$1000 for food, entertainment, leisure i'm at around $2320-$2520 so I should be saving $100+ a month. If I have $1,200+ in savings at the end of the year I'll be happy-really any savings is good to me, plus this is based on an entry level job with no promotion.

Not really but I have to It will be impossible to move them safely and I don't want to risk losing them all which is a very high chance.

Actually I just looked at the floorplan and it lists the other address- 225 Northern Avenue. Does it matter really?

The floor plan she gave me was just an example of that floor plan, that's why it isn't reversed like the actual room is. I saw the actual room we're moving into

why do you pay so much? the two garages were only $120 and $260.
The monthly rates for the garage underneath the building is 265/mo =(

Pretty steep, but well worth it to keep my babies safe=).
