Which Color to Get?
Hey guys, I need advice. Ordering my car tomorrow and torn between a few options. I'm planning on putting Xpel stealth wrap on the ENTIRE car to protect it from random paint damage so I am looking to go with the matte look. Here is the product: http://www.xpel.com/products/stealth_film.asp
update got SSII again Now, for the color choices: 1. Brilliant White 2. Silverstone II Metallic With the Xpel wrap on it, its going to look something like frozen silver and frozen brilliant white: and Last edited by MRSSIIM3; 10-24-2012 at 08:16 PM.. |

Go with what makes YOU happy, don't worry about others opinions, BUT, if you are asking me, I'd say Brilliant White. No color is as classy as white IMO and Brilliant White is just....brilliant.

You need to decide my friend, for you are driving the car. Best advice is to go to a large dealership and compare the available colours then you will know ... trust me

OP, if you want Frozen, order it. You're clearly ok paying for it since Brilliant White is on your list, and Frozen Individual colors don't cost anymore than non-Frozen. Don't rely on a bra to change your car's appearance unless you're really worried you won't like Frozen or it will go out of style. You'll have glossy paint at panel edges and it just won't look like factory Frozen overall -- and even if you go with Stealth bra and change your mind later, you'd have to pay to unwrap and rewrap your entire car in clear bra -- $3-4K per full car wrap plus removal is a pretty penny.
All that said though, haven't seen Brilliant White in person, but everyone who has seems to love it. But $5K seems like a lot for what is still white paint at the end of the day, though. Silverstone on the other hand I can attest looks spectacular because you get the awesome blue and green undertones in direct light (hopefully those show through even in Frozen form) and IMHO is more in keeping with the sporty nature of this car, whereas BW would emphasize more of the luxury/classy side -- probably why it's been a standard color on the 7 Series in the past. And of course Silverstone non-Frozen is a standard color. Or if you want cool undertones like Silverstone AND a white-ish color, take a look at Moonstone.

The Brilliant White looks awesome (in frozen and non frozen). Not a big fan of the SS at all. At the end of the day, it's your car. Go with what you think is nicest and what won't kill you to maintain.

how about get brilliant white or silverstone II. save $5k and wrap in frozen paint protection film for $3k. protects the car and when you are tired of the look, peal it off.
