new to m3post - new to owning an m3
A minute late on posting this but I just joined up on the website a week or so ago... just picked up my first m3 a few weeks ago.
2009 e90 m3 - lemans blue - CPO with only 3k miles on it. Looking to put a front spoiler lip on... suggestions are welcome (along with pics if you have em!) Looking to put exhaust on... thoughts on the meisterschaft gt2 titanium? My dealer has offered to install the new m3 performance exhaust and software for free and give me a discount on the parts - anyone have any knowledge of HP/Torque gains with the bmw performance parts for the m3? Looking to add a rear diffuser so it doesnt look as baren and covers my exhaust a bit better. again suggestions are welcome with pics if possible! all the rides ive viewed on here thus far are amazing... leaves me desperately wanting to mod mine!

Welcome and nice pics!
That's some low mileage for a 09.. good find. How does your dealer have the pricing for the BMW perfomance parts? I thought they weren't out yet. I could be wrong though. Care to share the pricing if you have it?

they called me yesterday asking about how i'm liking the ride and if i had any issues or questions arise at this point - they said "we just received the memo that we will be receiving our first m3 performance parts end of this month or early november and will have pricing shortly" so the sales guy did not provide me a quote but did give me the name of the performance parts person for the dealer who should have pricing he said. Unfortunately he did not give me a phone number so I havent been able to reach him yet. When I do I will post the pricing (along with specs if they provide them)

Personally I like the Akra or the Eisenmann. Both give it a deeper sound that isn't too far away from stock but definately noticeable. The GT2 is a bit too loud for my taste. I'm afraid I'll get kicked out of my neighborhood lol. It all depends on your taste and what you're looking for.

The Challenge carbon lip spoiler is a popular high quality option. They also make a matching rear diffuser.

Yeah the full akra is very pricy.. I'll probably go the slip-on route or eisenmann sometime next year.

love the lip. i may go the route of matching to my body color though... still on the fence with this idea though. I do have the carbon leather interior but adding the front lip in carbon and the rear diffuser would leave me wanting to carbon cap the mirrors and change to carbon grilles. we'll see. i'm no ms. cleo but i foresee a money pit in my near future

what are you driving? i used to have a volvo s60r that had the pegasus wheels and sport body kit. titanium gray metallic. that one you were likely to hear me coming more than see me - system was relatively loud.

Sweet ride! Did you purchase from Chapman BMW of Chandler? I think that's the car they tried to sell me as I kept telling them I didn't want a Sedan... they had a LMB sedan and a IB Coupe. Either way, color is amazing and congrats on the purchase...
