The M3 is Back!!!

So it finally came back! The wait was due to parts that had to be ordered from Germany that weren't stocked here in the US primarily. It turns out that it was a relatively inexpensive fix, around $3,900 for the oil cooler to be replaced some parts that were scratched up (including the wind pad underneath the front of the car), and the wheel well lining. Other than that, the exhaust was slightly dented so I am getting the Remus Race exhaust, and I'm getting a new (Euro most likely) front bumper because it got dented a bit and scraped by the tire. I did a photo-shoot with a friend's S5 and a friends A4 Ultra-sport yesterday so here are the pictures.

P.S. These pictures were taken with the original bumper, the damage on it is not very noticeable at all in fact (I took the reflectors off in my photo editing program for a few of the photos). I am taking it to 503 Motoring on Tuesday to get a full detail (clay, etc.).

Enjoy!

Great news, are you happy with the workmanship, looks good. Now you start on the mods again.

Yeah, it looks good, they really didn't have to do that much fortunately, but it looks OEM. Thanks.

I have to admit, S5 is a sexy car. I just wish they opted the horsepower a bit.

Cool pics!

Not loving the 503 Motoring stickers though. I figured after 310 collapsed that people would stop biting on "area code" motorsports...

Yeah the S5 is a great looking car, and just wait to see what the RS5 will be like!

Thanks! I hadn't heard about 310, but 503 is a very reputable company in our area.

310 Motoring started down here in L.A. probably in ’99 or so. I know people have been customizing cars for a long time, but 310 started really big with celebrities and athletes before DUB and all that other stuff. They were definitely the biggest and most popular out here. After they opened other spots in Miami, Atlanta, NYC, etc all started sprouting up and using the cities area code in their name. 310 got into racing and some other weird stuff, in particular clothing and shoes, and really disappeared car wise. You used to see 310 plates left and right here in LA, now they are all gone.
