Replacing the charge pipe only will not eliminate the bottleneck, thus - minimal gains will be the result. The MS piece also does not have the "accordion" type bend as seen on the stock charge pipe. A less restrictive flange, larger charge pipe and high-flow filter (along with ICS scoops) all work together as a package, resulting in best hp gains - which is why the entire system is included as a kit.

We're using the AngeliBright system (AiB) which replaces the standard H8 angel eye bulbs.
I picked up the Stage 1 kit...how much just for the MS charge pipe?

kitw got 6rwhp peak and a bit more throughout the rpm range with just an AFE Stg. 2 kit. I believe the Dinan number is more inline of what you would get with any of these kits. A highflow filter alone is 4 rwhp alone...

Here is the pic of Kits dyno

I have the AFE Stg.2 and it sounds great...it seems to compliment the rest of my mods. Also if you notice the A/F ratio with the AFE it actually ran richer..which means maybe with some adaption, the car could lean out a tad and pick up a few more...

A couple of people also made over 400rwhp with an AFE stg.2 as part of their package.

Hi,
I just installed my AFE Stage 2 Intake kit and the sound is intoxicating! Who cares about the extra hp, the sound is so dam horny!

The cheaper one uses the excellent OEM airbox, changes the airfilter and the charge pipe like the MS.
