Tint or no tint

So I'm debating whether to tint her or not. I have the MW exterior on black interior and the car looks stunning the way it is but I wonder if it would look nicer with a tint. Any thoughts?

Totally subjective, so check out some of the cars that have their's done. I personally prefer it without tint. So, my suggestion is none or very lightly done on a white car.

Get what you like, tho.

Tint. My wife's 335 is MW with Oyster interior. It looks great tinted! I'll upload a pic later. I went with 35% all around for her safety.

I'd at least do a light tint, for the UV protection on your interior.

This is a good benefit of tint, but if you don't go that route you can apply a product called 303 Aerospace to the interior. It does an awesome job of cleaning and protecting with no shine, and was originally designed for use on marine products which are exposed to full sun. They advertise it as "SPF 40 for your car".

I think tinting the windows cheapens the car. I know an M3 isn't a supervise but how many ferraris do you see with tinted windows? Exactly.

A light tint would look good, plus it will keep the car cool. Dark interior gets really hot come summer time. Go with a ceramic tint like Huper Optic. Costs more, but works well.

Personal taste thing, but have tint on my MW over BLK and like the look of it. Rears and back are dark with fronts done a couple shades lighter.

I was on the same fence. I went with 55% and am glad I didn't go darker. I'd go very light if you're unsure.

Tint. I did 30% fronts and 15% rears. Not too dark, looks clean, and gives me some privacy.

I didn't tint the Sparkling Graphite E92 I had because it's a funny color to do right. My black M3 takes the tint perfectly. White does as well.

Some tints can interfere with radar detector antenna.

I'm also on the fence.

Why tint: Recently I've been having a lot of people pull up along side and try to race. Would be nice to just be incognito inside.

Why not tint: I've got a pretty unique combo in Sparkling Graphite on Bamboo Beige. The colors just pop when you see the car. Tinting the windows would definitely take a way from that.

they have "clear tint", products like AirBlue from Llumar, thats what I went with.

It has a slight slight blue hue to it, even less than the Merc's OEM windshields.

With your color combo, yeah, I wouldn't tint. I find it makes a better "statement" to look those "racers" in the eye, and then .... don't race. If someone were gunnin' for you, that would be different.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

Ill probably not tint at least for now. The car looks stunning the way it is. Ill see around summer, if it gets too hot, ill do it.

Note that tinting your windows will not prevent it from getting hot... of course geographically dependent. It gets hot here, just sayin.
