I would be a buyer at 33-34k on it just because you never know what you would find with that car and what could potentially have happened with it!

Don't get me wrong, still by far the most reliable car I've owned, but when things do go wrong, it's pricey.
I agree with you. It is still reliable performance car compared to others.
Do you know if 2nd actuator lived 87K miles or was it changed before. They say avg actuator life is 50K miles.

Original, that's why I'm not too mad. The car has literally only gone in for scheduled maintenance and 1 door panel repair in 56k miles during its first ownership.

On my side (2nd owner), the 1st TVA was the only repair item I've had to do so far in 4 years of ownership and 37k miles.

That's why it's disappointing to see this Individual car with way less miles in far worse shape.

Does anyone know the fate of this car? Is the new owner a member here? I keep thinking I should have bought it when I had the chance even though it was a bit overpriced!

You snooze, you loose. Even if there's an inkling you wanted this car, you should've bought it. Not like you can go out next month and walk up to another LSB E90 M3 to buy.

Such a cool color. Always thought it looked great on the E46s.

Looking back does anyone still think $44k was too much for this 1 of 1 car? Especially with what we are seeing with the LSB premium on BAT?

I’m still kicking myself for not buying it. I was there, in person standing right in front of the car and offered them $40k and they wouldn’t budge on their asking price so I stupidly walked.

Considering they would have let it go for 42, no. Something like this is only going up in value at this point.

How many miles were on it?
I think LSB 1/1 will always be special, but it’s particularly desirable for the E46s because it was a launch color.

If it had low miles yeah it would command a premium but now
It's probably got 100k miles. It's as desirable as a e46 with 100k miles
At this point

Considering you're still thinking about the car 4 years later, no. If you had bought it then you probably wouldn't be missing the 4k today when you see it in your garage.

Maybe on paper it was over priced relative to what you could get at the time in terms of miles and condition, but some random Alpine White car won't ever feel this special.

For all you wondering What happened to this unicorn. we purchased the car back from the customer that bought about a year ago and it’s gone into the garage. Our owner decided to keep it. It’s stored locally here in San Jose, CA. It now has 66,000 miles on it
