Thoughts on Motul 10W-60 oil?

I know Motul makes quality products and are huge with the import crowds. I exclusively use Motul (5w-40) on my celica for that’s got a built motor and turbo.

Just curious has anyone here used Motul oil in their car? I know they make a 10w-60 grade.

i have used it in my m3. I found it to run smoother and quieter than Castrol it replaced. Also runs quieter than the total racing oil i ran after the Motul. Currently have Motul waiting to go in the car to replace the Total Racing.

A tad thick for my tastes (most other 10w60s have HTHSV around 5.4-5.5), but otherwise a decent oil. I would probably thin it out a bit with some of their 5w40. Good starting TBN, too.

If you can get it cheap, go for it.

I get it for about 8.50/L here, I think I remember you saying to mix it with 2L 5w40 for every 7L of 10w60

Whatever it takes to get a target TBN of about 5.4, yeah.
