Weekly wash car soap?
I've searched and never found a concrete answer, so I'll start my own thread...
What does everyone recommend (both professional detailers and the weekend warriors) for a car soap for the weekly washes? I'm looking for something that will maintain the shine while not stripping away the wax/sealant. Cheers! mark |

At Innovative Detailing whether its a Monthly maintenance customer or a Complete detail client our automotive shampoo of choice is the Diamond Wash n Shine car wash concentrate. Wash N Shine is a high foaming, concentrated car wash that removes stubborn contaminants and leaves a high gloss surface protectant. Wash N Shine offers superior surface lubrication that rinses off road film and soap easily, leaving a lustrous shine. Professional Wash N Shine is the ideal product for used cars that need to look their best since it allows for spot-free rinsing and excellent sheeting characteristics with little chamois or towel time. Professional Wash N Shine also brightens chrome and glass beautifully.

Unless my car is really dirty I use Protectal QEW (Quick and Easy Wash). It is a no rinse wash that I have used for the past 2-3 years. I love it and have found it causes no more paint marring than a conventional wash. It also makes washing in cold weather so much easier, and significantly reduces my wash time.

Anyone use Zaino products? I used their entire line when I had my G35.

I use Chemical Guys Maxi Suds II. Very slick, and super concentrated (instead of 1oz per gallon, it's 1/2 oz, so a gallon lasts twice as long as some others).
For OTC, I like the Meg's Gold Class too, I used that until I discovered CGs.

Do all these soaps work with a pressure washer? Any warnings/contraindications?
