New to M3, got rear suspension noise, and need suspension advise!

hi i recently bought an e92 m3 with about 40k miles

got some questions thought i could get some quick answers here

1.
i have some squeaky noise in the rear end when going through bumps, parking lot speed up to 60miles, you can hear it
with EDC most soft, it's most noticeable, with EDC on hard setting, it's less noisy but still noticeable
my guess is rear shocks are shot? but only 40k miles so fast? or any other place to look at?

2.
looking to upgrade coilover soon, looking for street comfort and trackable setting (maybe more street setup as car sees track not so often)
and i don't want to lower the car at all, so looking for a setup able to go highest (slightly lower than stock)

with above said, is KW V3 a good choice?
i've had it in my old e36 with good experience, but not sure about e92 M3
the ride is a bit hard for street, but i can cope with it,
for the right height, can it be set up to stock like ride height?

about the EDC module, i'm a little confused, obviously the EDC is only 3 setting
what about the setting in between the 3 intervals?

lastly, any suggestion on other coilovers?

thanks!
