This could possibly be a way of BMW getting around the increasing US fuel economy standards by taking an awesome car and reclassifying it. Hopefully removing the "gas guzzler" tax. Better be AWD

I like it,perfect for those of us that have bikes(bicycle or motorcycle) but unfortunately or fortunately depending whether you like it or not BMW has announced it is a one off for BMW motorrad.

Also surprised nobody has brought up the possibility of a Hybrid M3 - they have the back portion off to allow quick access to an experimental electric motor assisting the rear wheels and providing needed weight in the back... LOL.

Do you guys really think this is a serious pre-production model? First thing I thought was April Fool's joke. The car just looks like a random E93 M3 they taped some panel onto to give the impression of it being a ute.
