275/35-19 supersport+15mm spacers

Hi guy's,

I want to know if it is possible to mount 275/35-19 Michelin SuperSport AND 15mm spacers on 19 stock rear wheels, without rubbing ... I know it may be that limit, but if anyone has advice it would be appreciate.

Are you on stock suspension or lowered? Stock I think you would be fine but as soon as you modify the suspension that throws in a wildcard..

Yes you can no problem.

I have 275-35-19 michelins on my GTS wheels with a 15mm spacer on the rear with no rubbing at all.

Car is lowered too.

On the 220M wheels there is no issue at all.

I put the rear 19x9.5 220M with 265/35r19 PS2 on the front of my E90 M3 and it rubbed the fender liner both over bumps and at full lock, both with and without a 15mm spacer.

I think a 275/35r19 is going to be asking for trouble... but I have an e90 which could be different.

It would be trouble in the front but the OP was asking about fitting 275/35's on the rear which will work.

There is a guy on here that claims he has the 359 rear 19x10 ET25 with the 265/35/19 up front and it fits fine...
I wonder if there is a big variance in the liners between the sedan and the coupe.

D'oh!! I misread, thinking he wanted 275/35r19 on 19x9.5 wheels all around, like a square setup.

I fit 265/35r19 on the 359Ms in the rear with 15mm spacers no problem. 275s look like they'd fit in the rear too.

Sorry for the misread.

That guy would be me. And yes it works perfectly fine thus far without an ounce of rub anywhere.

I have been running this setup for 3 days now and have flogged it pretty hard and it doesn't rub on anything. Not on full lock, nothing.

Coupe and sedan are the same on the front end. Very alright variance on the rears between the 2. The coupe has a tad more room, which was quite the opposite in the non M e9x world.

Do you have PS2's or the new PSS tires? Word over on the PSS thread is that the PSS's are wider and have a squarer shoulder than the PS2's.

I personally have the PS2's on my car. However, we have found that the PSS doesnt create a fitment issue anymore than the PS2 does.

I am going with PSS after these tires, or the RE-11 if they ever make a 275-35.

interesting, thank you for your answer ... Is this you have made adjustments on camber and offset? If you have a minute can you put a picture of a rear wheel, to see the space between the fender and the tire.

Thank you man

Hey,
I want to know if it is possible to mount 275/35-19 Michelin SuperSport on a 2011 M3 Coupe without spacers. Everything else is stock as far as suspension. Thanks

didn't want to start a new thread. I'm running a square setup 19.5x9.5 et20

using me stock tires off my 220's, i need to run spacers in the rears, maybe the fronts. wondering if i should go with 12.5mm spacers or 15mm without having to do any fender work ? i will be lowering the car on H&R sport springs as well.
