My new 2011 E92 M3 ZCP Melbourne Red..

Got rid of the 997S as my M3 came in yesterday. I got the car from Nick Alexander BMW thanks to Will Shaw. He really did go beyond the call of duty to make the deal and extremely awesome service. Thanks Will..totally stoked. I had 2 previous M3's before the 997S, I never quite felt at home with the Porsche..I feel at home again.

I will have review later as there are major differences between the 997 and the E92, in fact I almost don't even know how they can compete against each other. I'll just say that my original notion is correct...the M3 is a great road car you can track while the 997 feels like a track car that you can take out on the street. I will say I really do like the feeling of the steering better in the 997..your hands really did feel like your hands are on the tie rods. More on that later..but here are a few pics I shot.

My 2011 ZCP Melbourne..

I am changing the tires right off to a 255/35/19 front and a 285/30/19 rear. The OEM tires looked like they are stretched to an inch of their lives with a 245 on a 9" wheel and a 265 on a 10" wheel. Also some spacers and that's about it.

Guys to show you how much I missed my E46 M3 I optioned the E92 as close as possible to my E46. The E46 has RG4's on it so the ZCP wheels made me feel at home.
