Lone Star Chapter BMWCCA FALL HPDE

If you haven't done a DE with the LSC recently you are seriously hurting your chances. This DE in 2 weeks is your last chance to get moved to the front of the line. You have been warned. There is still time to sign up!

Lol...I figured that was the secret.

Maybe I'm cynical but I have a hard time believing anyone has a leg up on getting a track day setup at COTA at this point. I think the track has much higher priorities o worry about than us. I just drove by the track...still looks like a work in progress. I'm sure every effort is being geared towards F1 prep. Then aren't next big hurdles the Australian V8 supercars and MotoGP? I would imagine everyone will take a sigh of relief and then F1 2013 will be right around the corner.

But...if the BMWCCA Lone Star Chapter can pull this off...I will happily eat this post and take a kick in the nuts! Just go easy on me, heh?

Better get our knife and fork ready. Like I said...you have been warned. This is not a practical joke. And it was not said this is a Lone Star CCA (only) event. Can't give out any details til a contract is signed. Let's get back to signing up for the October event at MSR!

I'm signed up for Sunday. Doing a custom Texas 2-step. MSRH on sat, the real MSR on Sunday.

In case you haven't noticed, Grand-Am will be there March 2nd, so perhaps they are working on a tie-in with that event. Also, WEC comes September 22nd. Unfortunately, I'll have to wait until spring for a LSC event.

I would think Grand Am would be a little too big to squeeze in a DE into. I'm sure this first time around on COTA will be a lot of money. I don't need to be the first...just need to drive it at some point.

I wasn't thinking DE, just some sort of tie-in such as BMWCCA parking area, pit passes etc. at the Grand-Am. DE would have to be at some other time and it will always be expensive. Agreed, driving there is on the bucket list.

Does everyone realize this event is cheaper to attend than 90% of the same type of events posted here.
$295 for Novice & Intermediate thats ONLY $147.50 per day!
$275 fo Advanced and Advanced+ thats ONLY $137.50 a day
