U-Boat watches

U boat, how are they compared to other watches in this segment. I love the large face. I know very little but my brother in law who's into watches (I had no idea about movements ect) says they are a good watch. worth spending up to 2500?

I say go get a diesel watch if you like big watches. Much less expensive for the same ugly thing.

Ugly oversized watches with horrible resale value. Basically a very overpriced fashion watch.
