shout out to A-Spec
So, I have been having issues with my clutch.. which has knocked my car out since last friday... It was at Laurel BMW but due to their hideous service practices I towed it to an indy shop. THe indy shop whom I trust tremendously is having some issues bleeding the clutch after replacing the slave+master cylinders... even a reverse bleed was unsuccessful. I called over the A-spec and spoke to Brad about the problem. Even though he didn't know me, he spent a significant time on the phone trying to trouble shoot the problem and even offered to take a look at the car if I were to bring it there... This is in contrast to most places who wont even give you the time of day.
Just thought I'd point out that out and I'll be having A-spec do my service once I return back to Chicago.

Brad knows his shit and Shawn drops me to Starbucks while I wait for the cat to get done. Brad knows the M real well, I'd recommend them to anyone.

Bumping with another shout-out. They did an unofficial 50k service on my car today (changed the "lifetime" fluids). Laid back guys but they clearly know what they're doing. Will absolutely be returning in the future.

Just had some test pipes installed at A-spec and Sean and Brad were great!
Drove me to Starbuck and back while waiting. Service is great, price is very reasonable. Sean actually remembered me from 10 years ago when I had a turbo back install on my WRX. At that time he actually let me take his car for a day while he worked on my car. Awesome guys! Doug |

+ for A-Spec top notch guys and really know what they are doing! Who needs the dealer, when these guys are likely much more qualified to work on the M! I'm going back to dyno as soon as this white powder clears the ground haha.
