Decisions.... to buy now or wait....
So i'm trying to decide if I should pick up an E92 M3 right now, which means I would have to go with an 08-09 or wait a year and get a 2011 or newer....
I was looking at this example... it's not perfect for me as I am giving up the my first choice of space gray to my second choice which this is, interior seat color I want, and it doesn't have a CF roof.... and run flats? who puts run flats on now?? as far as pricing goes though what do you guys think? Is it worth it to wait for one to come along with everything I'm looking for? http://usedcars.kbb.com/detail/cars/...earchResult=22 |

NEVER buy a car that you don't really want, especially an inexpensive car like the M3.
WAIT (and save, if that would help too) for what you want. My 2 cents.

I am not the most patient person in the world... more like probably the most impatient person in the world. lol I know it would be wise to wait, I just want one as I have since they came out. at 26 do I really need one right now? no, but I sure do want one. Plus you never know what the F80s will do to me as this one grew on me, I have a feeling the new one may. However... I love that naturally aspirated, high revving 8....

I wouldn't buy an '08 because it's the first model year, unless you know of one that's been well cared for, had no issues and you dont care about the (now outdated) iDrive or don't want the iDrive/Nav/M Button. 09+ models got the much improved and current iDrive.

the more i think about it.... the more I want a newer one as I know I will always have those little things lurking in the back of my mind that I am missing out on. The more I look at that competition pic thread the more I want those wheels and tails. I heard the competition package wasnt necessarily worth it and i could always get those wheels but i dont know.... there is just something about them that has been growing on me. I also told myself I was going to keep it stock as I have a modded car and regret it due to A) always being paranoid as I am a clean freak and perfectionist and sometimes don't like to drive it due to weather being harsh on it and B) the comfort level... also makes me not want to drive it at times. and who knows.... like i said the F80 may steal my heart and I may have to go against my better instincts of feeling comfortable within the traditional M motors. I tell myself I will own the car for years and years but we all know how that goes...

Where's this at? All the JB e90 6mt's I found have been sold. I wouldn't mind an 08 but I'm gonna probably wait another 6-8 months to save a little more, get more use out of my 335i's warranty (and meth lol) and pick up a 6mt 09+
