Exclamation Simulation experts chime in!!!

I want to know how much faster will my car (E90 2011 DCT M3) be at the ½ mile if I go with a stage 1 SC (550HP). My car has the following performance mods:

Akrapovic Evolution Exhaust
Dinan underdrive pulley
AA Green filter
ESS Akra Evo tune V2

Dynoed (on 30K miles spark plugs) 377rwhp (STD)

At the ½ mile trapped at around 138-139mph (suboptimal traction at the starting line I might add, this will be addressed later)
I know there are many variables to consider but just wanted to have an idea of what trap speed to expect (if its possible through simulation) if I upgrade to a 550 kit.

Thanks in advance.

Send me your Dyno files and I'll get it done for you.

Thanks man, but I don't have any files. Just a mediocre graph with HP and AFR. No even torque graph or RPM's. The guy did not seem to be very knowledgeable. Honestly, I wouldn't make that much of it but that's what I have available where I live. I did the dyno because I wanted to at least know "something" about my car's power.
Thanks again.

I think you can expect to gain about 13 mph in the 1/2 mi trap.

Shown below is a simulation comparing speed vs. distance for a stock DCT M3 and one with 380 ft lb, 550 hp crank. Losses are 11-12% (don't recall exactly). When reading the chart precisely with a cursor I show 140 mph for stock and 153 modded with the AA kit. Thus it doesn't appear you had really major traction problems with the stock car. You don't need a dyno curve for this level of estimate. I think 150-155 mph is a pretty confident range, given 550 crank hp and the losses I'm using (which have been validated with a wide variety of other test vs. simulation comparisons). That is a gain of 11-17 mph.

CarTest is only $40. It takes some learning, patience and exploration and as I have mentioned in other places, garbage in = garbage out. For folks who really want fast answers to these type of questions please support this small software producer.

can you share the specifications and parameters that you use for the e92 m3 or do they already have it in the database when you purchase the software?
