GTS Wing double tape/betalink vs screws

Hey guys i was wondering if their is a way i dont have to drill the wing on. Can i use a strong 3m double tape or even a glue like betalink? the only downside is their is not enough surface contact to double tape. I was thinking of maybe expanding the bottom rectangular like part where its mounting holes are to a flat even large square piece. But anyways, im assuming wind will probably lift the 3m tape? what about betalink?

Are you mounting an OE BMW GTS wing or aftermarket? The concern is the cost of the part and the functional aero aspects of it likely removing itself from the trunk lid if not adhered properly.

Not a good idea at all. It will go flying off at high speeds.

You have to drill the wing it. It will rip off with tape and beta link overtime will crack.

Betalink requires a repaint if you remove the wing. It's not much more work to fill in the drilled holes.

I tried this myself with 3M double sided tape...wing flew off at 60 mph . Not sure how strong betalink would be but I suggest drilling holes due to the wing only having two small contact points. If you don't want to drill into your existing trunk get an aftermarket one.
