anyone with BMW PERFORMANCE rear section in Boca-West palm area?

Hello,

I'm hoping someone in my area has the BMW PERFORMANCE exhaust on the M. I've gone through a few setups and back to stock. Now the bug hit again. Seems it might be exactly what I'm looking for.

Would be great if someone in the area has it that wouldn't mind meeting for coffee and car talk. I'd like to listen to in before I buy it for over 3 grand.

I spent on a dinan rear, then dinan mid section. before that Agency power rear, then Challenge street midpipe. They all sounded amazing but........there is always a but with exhaust.

Looking forward to responses.

Thank you.

What was the drawback of the Dinan midpipe? Are you thinking of going back to stock midpipe + mperf mufflers, or go back to stock midpipe + mperf mufflers?

I'm debating whether to go mperf and keep stock midpipe vs go to dinan midpipe + stock mufflers. For about the same cost the Dinan midpipe + Dinan tune would lead to some actual performance gains.

How did the agency power and challenge street sound? Did it get raspy at all?

Didn't care for CEL with dinan midpipe and thought it was mindless to get a flash to only remove the silly light for so much money.
had it been a power enhancing mod, then maybe.
fumes weren't bad, but didn't miss them after going to catted pipe.

stock mid pipe and m perf exhaust is a great combination. but i missed the sharp nature of having the challenge street pipe on there.

Even with stock muffler, you get that projected high pitch "zip" on dct downshift rev blips that is missing with stock midpipe.

Before taking M perf rear off, I paired it with challenge street x pipe, and it was a huge difference. It was sharp and I loved it. But for my sensitive ears, I didn't want that.

hope this all helps and pardon the late responses. been moving interstate, FL to MI. Kept me busy.
