I had a 128i as a loaner before. Pretty fun car to drive.

Wait are you serous? The insurance overs the rash/scrapes. I have the insurance and they told me it only covers real damage, not aesthetic stuff. I had to pay $350 to get both of mine fixed.

As far as loaners....I've gotten 2 328s. Nice but no power and to 335 with sport packages and nav and that is a great car. Very fast.

Today I'm driving a E90 328i with 700 miles on it. In the past I've also had: E92 335xi, E90 335i. I've been offered an E93 328i and Z4.

I'm currently in a 328nn. That's 328 no nav.

I can't complain that I get a free BMW as a loaner really, but I'd like to say this. The 328i is fine as far as engine goes. It's as fast as any daily driver needs to be, and handles decent for a non sport packaged car, but let me tell you. A BMW without basic options is flat out embarassing.
No nav, no ipod interface, no idrive, no parking sensors, no moonroof, no leather, manual seats that hardly adjust, no homelink, alarm, sirius, bluetooth, and the list goes on. Pure utility, no luxury. I hate stripper cars. Call me crazy but give me a loaded 328 over a stripped 335 ALL day long.

Usually a 328 or a 328 conv. Have had a 535 one time and , applause, an e60 M5. 2 days, two tanks of gas! M5 chipped at 168.

Crazy! Just kidding. To each their own, though. I enjoy a driving machine, not a machine that also drives. I'd take a stripped 335 over any 328. Unless the 328 had an M3 in the trunk. That's fully loaded.

Sitting at the dealer (got rear ended...lucky it was just very minor cosmetic damage) and my advisor just told me that I'm going to get an e92 m3 as a loaner.

Should be nice...always wanted to try out the coupe

I got a POS 328 that didnt even have power seats. No options what so ever!!! Sucked!!! Then I found out after I complained that I could have gotten a 5 series if I asked for it...

Just got back from the dealership with this:

They had asked me what car I wanted and said I could get something non-BMW. I didn't know what he meant so I said a new 5 series would be fine. I come back a bit later and he tells me that they have a brand new M3 available so I jumped on it.

Turns out my dealer has a 3rd party rental agency they work with and I could've probably gotten a Porsche if I had asked. Next time I suppose...

From Korea? Just curious what kinda money you have to have in order to drive an M3, let alone an import. Nice loaner btw!

I have received:

1) 335d
2) 328xi
3) 528xi
4) enterprise jeep wrangler

I will usually get a BMW but the time I got a wrangler I was going on a weekend trip to the shore and I requested it. My service rep smiled and got me to the enterprise rep and set me up perfectly.

It may be the particular dealership I go to, but they are the most profesional and giving service and dealership I have ever delt with.

I have owned a Mercedes, Infiniti, and Acura, but BMW is by far the best in service. For that reason alone there is no question I will get one again.

Thanks! If they can't fix my car by this week, I'm going to see if I can swap out cars. Want to try something new.

I was lucky I was able to order via Military Sales program, but normally it's over $100k.
