Anyone come from a Gen IV Viper?

I'm curious if anyone has come from a Gen IV Viper to an M3. I'm considering picking one up to have in addition on my M3, not to replace it. There is only one for sale anywhere near me but it isn't around the corner, so I haven't had a chance to check it out and go for a spin. But would like to hear thoughts from guys around here, as opposed to those on Viperalley.

I've only heard stories of Vipers, they sound hair-raising.

I can't wait to get the chance to drive one.

I've always been a huge fan of the Viper. As a kid I used to drool over them and remember falling in love with the Gen II Blue/White Striped GTS Coupes. Never owned one but have driven a few. It's loud, slightly uncomfortable, ingress and egress was tough (I'm 6'1" and have clearing issues) and interior could of been out of a Dodge Caravan (the Viper that I drove a few times did not have Nav) but the seats were better than the C6 Vettes. Wasn't too fond of the shifter feel but surprisingly I did not mind the steering. Oh and I thought the audio system was a joke but I surmise that if you buy a Viper, you could care less. Straight line speed was ridiculous, brakes were wonderful, and it oversteered easier in the dry than my M3 in the wet lol.

OP, if the M3 is an addition than it will be a welcomed one and a huge change of pace from what you're used to. Fit and finish and creature comforts, it would be like going from a Motel 6 to a room at the Ritz. The performance difference is obvious but the M3 will make you look like a better driver since it's an easier car to flog. Such a different machine. One is a torque monster and demolishes drag strips, the other a jack of all trades car.

Okay fine, I'm scared of the Viper. There, I said it...
