Ohhh I missed that in your post. Gotcha. I'm looking to move up to NT01s too. Prob next year. Everybody who has them loves them. Hoping they're worth a second or two |

LOL. Yeah, it took some effort - it is all that weight I dropped. I did feel the car was a lot more tail happy. I made rebound on the rear axle a few clicks softer and it was OK or maybe I adapted to the new balance. I think next time, I'll just leave the backrest - a lot quiter that way.
One thing that I need in order to keep improving is brakes. This is so annoying doing cool down laps in the middle of the session and bringing braking point earlier and earlier as they start to go. I ruined surface on my front rotors because my ST Street Performance pads vanished after the last session - literally there is 0 material left, I had at least 2.5 millimeters before that session. They didn't last me 3 full track days.. Ultimately I want ST big brake kit, but for now maybe I'll just resurface the rotors and go with Endless pads, I hear a lot of positive things about Endless from guys at the track. Can anyone recommend a reputable shop in LA to resurface rotors? |

Was at the Raceline USA event at Buttonwillow 13CW on Sunday 12/16. First time with Raceline. Nice guys!
E90 M3 Track/course: Buttonwillow 13CW Best Lap Time: 2:02.73 (transponder) Brakes: AP Racing - Mintex F3R front, Ferodo DS2500 rear Tires: Hankook R-S3 - 18" - 265/285 Suspension: Had a last minute problem with front JRZ suspension the day before the event, so stock had to be put on, so the front was completely stock suspension. Rear was on JRZ RS Pro. Not ideal, but after a few laps, I realized I could make it work! Front tires weren't too happy though.....hehe Other mods: VF620, MS Test Pipes |

More grip here and there from the hankook td tires but most noticeable was coming out of turn 5 I can use full throttle all the way to the entry of turn 8 hitting 150 instead of 140 and being able to to the same for 9 again hitting 150 before braking for turn 1

Great time! My new goal is 2:01.8 Just ordered a set of Pagid race pads for my stock brakes, let's see if that will do it. I see you did pull the rear seat, how did you like it? |

Car: 2013 E92 M3 DCT ZCP
Track: Willow Springs/Big Willow Best Lap Time: 1:38.2 (VBox) Brakes: stock Suspension: stock Tires (Size & Model) Michelin Pilot Super Sports 255F 275R Other Mods: Car is 100% stock except for tires, ESS VT2 S/C + Exhaust Condition: Freezing rain/snow (no joke 12-29-12); MDM on. I was very happy as this is only my third time at a track and a first with my M3. Fastest time lap time was achieved was with an Instructor (Malek) on board. Fasted time with no passenger was 1:39.0. Shaved about 10 seconds off my initial lap Obviously a huge difference in knowing the lines and the entry/exit speeds! Can't wait to go back when the conditions are better.
