Noise from DCT ?
I have a rattle noise that sounds like it's from my transmission at idle. (like at a stop light). It goes away when it goes into gear. Seems to be there in all drive modes. Anyone with a DCT have this ? Dealer at 1200 mile service called it normal. But it doesn't sound normal to me.
If anyone is near San Clemente, if you'd be willing to listen to it for me I'd much appreciate it. |

Noise at idle
It's still there. I just mention it every time I go to the dealer, so it's documented. I also have, during warmup, a stumble at low speed, low RPM in D1 and D2
My best guess is the clutch. Sounds like an old fashioned manual when the throwout bearing was failing. I'm waiting for the ISTA/P version that fixes the lag before I ask for a reprogram. I would have got a manual if my left knee wasn't part of that transmission. |

i remember this happening once to me when i first got the car driving in D mode.
Does it happen when you use the car is s mode, i drive 99% of the time is S and never experienced that, and since i started using S mode i dont ever get the lag, and i drive in s3 80% and s5 on my m settings.

Just noticed something rattling to mine as well last night when I pulled it in to my garage. Sounds like a vibrating heatshield or something?
But I don't know, really do hope its nothing worth fixing or that it'll go away by itself after some more driving. |
