I made the same exact move Z4m to E90 M3 and dont regret it at all. Z4m is a great car but was just way too small and uncomfortable for me (I used both the m coupe and m3 as a daily driver).

First off, the vert was more entertaining than you think. The Z4MC is roughly 400 lbs lighter than your e92 M3. So, you are hardly the guy compare, no?

Secondly, I now have a 2013 e92 M3 ZCP. I have to spell it out for you since you can't read for yourself. So, I have a very good frame of reference having both the e92 M3 and the e86 Z4MC.

Lastly... what?! Catless feels like a CSL? What the hell are you smoking? May be it sounds like one, but it certainly doesn't drive like one.
generally, when longwong says "no offense", he means "offense with severe prejudice".

so yeah, longwong, you can go crawl back in your troll castle now. Thanks for stopping by!

E90 is so much more practical. Test drive one. I have a feeling that you will fall in love since its so different.

I test drove a Z4M in coupe and convertible form while looking around before the M3. Not sure what you think brutality is like but the Z4M IMO doesn't have it, that's a trait reserved for much more raw cars. I found it to be a comfortable car with a great engine and wonderful handling but it's still a leather-lined 3200lb car, packing a lot of mass in a small footprint, which gives it a passable ride. The M3 on 19's doesn't ride much better. The M3, however, has a ton more front-end grip, which annoyingly makes the body roll even more pronounced relative to the Z4M, which seems to have none at all from behind the wheel, probably thanks to sitting on the exhaust tips and a seating position that puts you at eye level with toddlers, which has a way of making things exciting, sometimes in a bad way. The Z4M is a great car no doubt but it's not exactly a stripped racer in disguise, just a shrunken E46 M3 with a big schnoz

Obviously if you want more space the Z4M requires you to leave the top down whereas an E90 will allow you to keep your ikea purchases out of the weather...

Before I purchased my M3, I was convinced the Z4M coupe was the car for me. I found one at a dealership and test drove one. I was so heartbroken afterward. The car was so slow. The interior was okay, but the M3 fully loaded is much much nicer IMO.

I ended up getting an E93, and while it's not exactly that much faster in stock form due to the extra weight, it's a much better daily driver / date night / weekend cruiser/carver than the Z4M could ever be. It just does everything so well.... nothing head over heels better, but overall, it's superior. Adding a supercharger helped too.

My E90 was delivered on Friday, have not been able to wipe the grin off my face since. Now excuse me, I have to go get some milk.
