gloss or matte on 19' ZCP wheels
Hello guys,
i need your help guys...  I own the M3 e92 (2013) with the 19inch stock ZCP rims and i want to paint them. Now i'm torn between matte or gloss on my Jerez Black m3!?  |

Mine are a matte anthracite kind of color...it matches the color of the carbon fiber

I powder-coat mine gloss to match carbon roof and other carbon accessories but they turn matte quickly by brake dust. That way you get both worlds

I just got my ZCP wheels re-finished in gloss black yesterday and I love it! I was contemplating between matte and gloss for the longest time but I definitely made the right choice!

Satin is a median between matte and gloss, and compliments most vehicles extremely well, especially the M3. Satin doesn't look as bad as gloss when dirty, but is harder to clean. Matte is the most contrasting setup to your black paint and will provide a more stand out look. Matte conceals brake dust and grime the best of the three, but is also harder to clean. In the end, it is really up to you in terms of preference. No one can or should make the decision for you because frankly, if you let someone else make your decisions, you will never be content with the outcome. Worst comes to worst, you can always repaint.  |

JBZ is hard color to match. I think brushed aluminum looks best.

The GTS, CRT, etc have a semi-matte finish and I think this looks best. Gloss black is very distracting and it ruins the lines of the wheels. Flat black just looks weird -- I associate it with steel wheels.
