Pros and Cons of Clear Bra on AW?

Saw a few posts about AW cars with clear bras
any AW with clear bras care to share how their experience is up to this date
Pros? Cons? What brand to use? Least amount of yellowing?
Thanks

I don't know of any cons as long as you get a quality film. I love mine.

There are a few threads that go into which films are best (durable, yellowing, etc.) but there doesn't seem to be a true consensus. In my experience (2 AW e92s with 3m applied by dealer) everything has been fine. I live in Oregon so don't see much sun, drive around 5k miles per year, and wash/detail regularly...I think given the proper care you should be good to go!

my clear bra is made by venture shield and it has yellowed in 6 months in SoCal weather.
the car is garaged most of the day too, at home and at school so it rarely out in the sun.

Other than the obvious Pros... no damage to the protected areas... here is another thread on pretty much the same thing. A lot of the film yellowing issues these days are due to improper maintenance of the film. Do not use any petroleum based products on it and you wil be fine. That said I prefer Ventureshield Ultra, Avery Nano Fusion and the new Xpel Ultimate film. Those three to me are the best out there. I really like Avery but its hard o get and they dont make 60" film yet. The Xpel Ultimate film looks great so far but I have only been testing it for a short time since it is a new film. VentureShield Ultra is a film I have used for 8 years and never had any warranty issues. I give out a bottle of sealant for the film though so my clients always have the proper prosducts to maintain the film with. Hope the link below helps.

The sun doesnt really have anything to do with yellowing. What products are you using on it to clean it and to seal it with?

Any sort of color changes that might happen due to poor maintenance would be less noticeable if a full wrap on the panels was done. For example cover the entire hood instead of part of the hood.

Yeah I did the entire hood on mine and am happy that I did. Wished I would have done the full fenders as well instead of just part.

I hear you. I did half hood and fender on mine and wish I did the full wrap.

FWIW, I've used Premier's PF Film cleanse and my CB still yellowed. For sealant, I used Z-AIO and Klasse. I have a control sample (door handle cups were CB'd) and they are yellowing too.

Really worried about the yellowing. Only really looking to wrap the front bumper and lower part of the hood.
which brand is the least possibility to yellow? Is yellowing covered under the warranties?

I just got my whole front clip done in December with VentureShield. It's now guaranteed against against yellowing for 5 years. I had the same product put on 2 years ago and it yellowed, but no guarantee against that at that time. It's supposedly better now.

Not sure about the Klasse product a I have never used it and cant find any ingrediant info online... but Zaino has always worked very well on PPF. I have never seen any yellowing while using it... and I have seen film that was installed 6-7 years ago and the car sits in the sun daily. I will see what the Klasse product contains. And as far as Premiers products, I have never used any of them.

What is the typical cost to clear bra the front end (hood and bumper) and the rear bumper near the wheels?
Thanks
