DVD Question

Once again, I ask you guys to go easy on me because I'm an m3 newbie.

I've attached a picture. I have a 6 disc changer and a slot on the bottom that contains my gps dvd.

My question is, is there a way to play movies in that slot? If so, is I'm sure it's blocked for use in gear. Is there a way to crack that?

Since you have a 2008 you will need something like this:

If it was a 2010 (maybe 2009) + it could be enabled through coding.

Are we talking about CIC retrofit here? Or is there a way to turn on DVD video playability in our '08 drives?

I think he can do the first one, not sure. I know the second one, which you want, can be done. It's called DVD in motion.
