I have not tested my LI, but I been shot with laser plenty of times with it like this and there is a laser sheild on the front plate as well you just can't see it. I am going to up grade to the High Power LI in the front so I am not really worried.

[QUOTE=SHADY1;9812597]I am still currently deployed in Iraq, but I still have the carbon fiber mod virus. I ordered a ARKYM carbon fiber double sided 1x1 weave vented hood a few months ago from the vender Cal@Sonic MS. I had Cal@Sonic MS custom paint the hood and clear coat the exposed carbon fiber before they shipped it to me. I am about to go on my two week R

The HP heads are really only needed for a truck or the rear of some vehicles.. Properly aligned standard heads work very well! You should find some local jammer tests and see what your setup is really doing. radardetectors dot net is a good place to start.

James... from one carbon fiber addict to another... love your ride. Gotta love that carbon fiber mod virus.
Your modding is definitely opening my eyes to what CF options are out there for the E92 M3. Oh and thanks for serving our country... very cool.

Curious... what about his bimmer specifically makes you feel it's "riced out"? I'm asking you this with the utmost of respect by the way. Does having any carbon fiber on the car rice it out or is it that too much carbon fiber ("too much" is subjective anyhow) rices it out? Personally I feel when modding with carbon fiber it's nice to have a theme so I can certainly respect his choice of using the material. Also keep in mind that BMW respects the carbon fiber material enough to sell OEM quality components made of carbon fiber... are those considered ricey too?

In my case, my mechanical heart is made of carbon fiber (carbon fiber is literally in my blood, lol), so I've modded the BMW you see in my sig with the same material to tell my heart story, raise heart awareness and serve the community we live in. Nothing ricey about that... it's a modding choice and style... some like it and some don't... why put others down here by putting a negative "ricey" label on the folks who choose to mod it that style?

Be careful driving, though. Don't want to mess up that expensive "grill"

Thanks for the comment, I am glad you like my carbon fiber from one addict to another You are correct with your comments on the rice out, as we all know haters are going to hate. But at the end of the day its my car, my style and thats how I roll

Oh and to the haters its all good
