I am thinking what should I get next besides my current M3. I am planning to keep it but in 1.5 yrs, for family reasons, I need to get a sedan. I was looking all over the new posts about the new F80 M3 and I was thinking of the tanzanite blue individual however, MB been also hovering over as an option specially with the upcoming C63 AMG with NAV8 changed to TTV8 (something I think BMW should ve done with the new M3 but we are not getting into this now) but I realized that I need a bigger car than the category of the 3ser. I started looking at the CLS63 AMG. This car looked spectacular in black on black and in frozen grey on black wheels. Engine is a TTV8 with 550 HP. What do you guys think? Does this car look like grandpa car or an older guy kind of car? I'm 35. And I wonder if anyone here has an experience with it. Any other car suggestions?

I always see Mercedes as old guy car and BMW for younger gen but that's me. Everyone has different taste. One day I will own a Mercedes but when I am 50+ years old

I think the CLS looks fantastic. I'm not too sure about the drive, but it really depends on what you're looking for! I would see the CLS as more of an executive saloon with a big engine, comfortable and roomy.

I dont get all that grandpa and 50++++ age to drive a Benz. The Benz is all about style and luxury. There is no comparison between BMW and Mercedes. There is a reason Mercedes appeals to the older more sophisticated crowd and BMW mostly appeals to kids.

The CLS63 AMG is my favorite benz. It looks very sleek and modern. I would love to own one.

MB models improved in shape a lot compared to their older models. I don't think anyone would be keen to own late 1990s or early 2000s Benz. That said, the C class always looked good and the C63 AMG was my next option to the M3 and I'd take the black series model any day over any other car. The CLS looks good because it looks like a coupe but it's a sedan and I looked at the 2015 pics and it looks spectacular but it also looks super luxury and belongs to the CEO of some company. I'll probably take it for a test drive when the new models come out in the fall.

Well, here's my other ride. Really puts the power down with AWD, reasonably priced for what you get, easily tunable for big power, stunning interior and plenty of room.

Love the new CLS, it's absolutely gorgeous. One of my favourite cars out right now.

Wow, your S6 looks great! What wheels are they? Hartmann, VMR or other?

The checked it out, too small for what I'm looking for, the exhaust note however was a killer in the R version with the supercharged V8

One of the cars I'm considering, 650 gran coupe M sport In tanzanite blue. I keep thinking of it with black rims, black m performance grille, and tinted windows. It would look sick. Thing is, the CLS 63 amg that I want is only 2-3 k more than this and you get the amg version. To get the ///M version of the 6 gran coupe you have to pay 25k more ((.
