Do you have a link to more information?

I will try to find the link info.

As I said, I am not positive about the thickness of the spacer, I think it's 10mm.

I am running oem 19s with 10mm spacers all round on mine with no problems at all. The 10mm hubcentric spacer can be made for an M3, it's just down to how you design the corner chamfers. (I make my own)

Another theory might be that the GTS wheel runs with a bigger spigot bore which would enable a 5mm hubcentric spacer to be used.

The only thing I know for sure is that the GTS runs a spacer of some kind.

I'd like to see where you're getting that information from. Another thing to remember is that the GTS is equiped with the same wheels but wider tires, so I don't see how it could be running spacers wirhtout modification to the fenders.

Also, check out the following specs:

BMW M3 GTS: http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/car/4...92-M3-GTS.html

Wheelbase / Track (fr/r) 2760 mm (108.7 in) / 1546 mm (60.9 in) / 1539 mm (60.6 in)

BMW M3 Competition: http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/car/4...mpetition.html

Wheelbase / Track (fr/r) 2761 mm (108.7 in) / 1538 mm (60.6 in) / 1539 mm (60.6 in)

So from the specs above, it looks like the GTS may be running a 4mm spacer in the front or something else in the GTS front suspension is pushing the front wheels out a bit more than the normal comp package E92.

or it is a 10MM wider tire that pushes out 5mm on each side, or 3/10 of an inch track width.

negative, the track is measured from the centerline of one tire to the centerline of the other tire. A wider tire would not result in a wider track.

I can only find this link at the moment where it refers to spacers. It's just under the heading where it says 'tight in the tight stuff'. I have seen it on official BMW blurb but I can't find the link at the moment.

Eh, the article also says the 359Ms are forged...

Edit: It also refers to the GTS's paint as Fire Orange, when I'm fairly certain it's Inca Orange. Point is, I'd take the news of spacers with a grain of salt until I see it on something a bit more official.

Yes, I noticed the forged wheel mistake as well, but it's the only ref I can find at the moment. I got the original info from a BMW pdf but can't find it

I will keep looking though

Can we agree the GTS most likely doesn't use a spacer?

Also, I really would like SOMEONE to prove that the 359M's are cast and not forged. I'd like official proof, not second hand knowledge.

Nope. Ian (alpina527) was correct. The GTS does indeed come with spacers:

Your BMW knowledge was consistently spot on before, Ian. Sorry for doubting you.
