I called Megan racing today to order exhaust for the Sedan but they said that they do not stock one for the E90, they only have produce one for the coupe, I also checked on their web site and nothing for an axle back system for the sedan. For those of you who purchased this exhaust form Megan racing who did you talk to? or is this just a prank.

Saeedg48 didn't you modify a Megan coupe exhaust to fit your sedan before? or am I mistaken.

I've had my Megan Exhaust for 3 mos. now..it hasn't browned yet also I am getting no drone below 3k rpm. I know the above post said it does...but mine doesn't with my setup.

My install went without any hitches, nothing missing and I am thoroughly impressed with this product at this price point. I had an Eisenmann Race on my 01 E46 M3 and it was sent back to them 2 times for broken brackets. I would be happy with the Megan even if the price point was $1k, anything more than that and I would have gone with Borla.

Got mine installed a few weeks ago. It's definitely lighter than stock muffler. I'd say it's about 75% of the weight maybe less. To me it sounds how the car should have sounded from the factory. Not too loud, but deeper and more aggressive than stock. It's also great to actually hear a little something at idle and start up.

Just to update anyone intrested in the Megan exhaust for the E90; I spoke to James at Megan and he stated that they will begin production as early as next week and expected for sale around early October.

Did you get a x-pipe also, or just the rear box?

The Megan Racing is an EXACT, and I mean EXACT match of the AP Racing in weight, shape and quality. The only issue is getting one in the U.S. as apparently they are in very short supply. The only thing I did different was have the exhaust welded as opposed to clamped as clamping it leads to leaks etc.

I did not do a before and after dyno but I as well as other that have been in my car can definitely notice the difference. I'll see if I can get a friend to video of a fly by with the x-pipe and exhaust.

I agree 100% with you. It's ridiculous the price increase from previous cars and the amount of money people are willing to pay for things that are obviously extremely overpriced.

Someone setup a group buy! I would never normally consider an exhaust because the price: performance is no where near a BBK, coilovers, or wheels/tires for track performance. But $500 is amazing. I would almost pay $500 just to take away the look of the huge muffler under my E90!!!

Nice! I hate you btw... I got my butt WHUPPED by a RennTech CL65 this morning... yea yea i knwo i shouldnt have even tried but i couldnt resist lol

More related -I was contemplating between getting the Megan exhaust or doing the stock muffler mod.. But after seeign this vids and comments I might just do the Megan exhaust and maybe throw in some Hi flow cats in placeof the primaries.

After that - would it be worth it to tune? Any recommendations?

I'm running a custom xpipe with high flow 200 cats, magnapacks as resonators, and megan exhaust and I love it.

don't bother with replacing your primary cats. just delete and tune - end story.
