Other than that, the S5 is a beautiful car. He really isn't make the "wrong" decision. To each their own.

Got it, thanks

I told him, its a great body and a beautiful car, but its not up to the m3 standard.

If it was, audi would charge a leg and arm. the e92 is around the same price and you get more bang for your buck.

i need comments about why the e92 m3 is better! im gonna show this to him after i get some comments so help me out!!!
From the brief explanation, I honestly think he should get the S5. While the M3 appeal has broadened, I still hope that the core ownership group still prioritizes rewarding handling at the top of their list.

Here's a direct comparison. Great cars. Different priorities.

thats was a good read. I enjoyed it. although..the S5 really isn't a direct competitor to the M3 which they kind of get out in the first line of the article, but great read nonetheless. It will be interesting once the new RS5 comes out to see how these two stack up.

I like the way the article describes the M3:
Profane, arrogant, armed, intimidating, purposeful, transcendent, resolute, deep, unprecedented, influential, mean.

s5 looks great in picture, but boring in real life and is not mod friendly at all. m3 continue to grow on me each day and with aftermarket stuff coming, i think it will be a hit.

Plus, m3 perform way better, better v8 with 8400 redline, sound better.

s5 will looks just like s4, s6, s8, a4, a6, a8, etc. they all have the same damn led light.

I would say, let him get the S5. Then you can get the M3.

If he doesn't really want the M, no use in forcing him into it. He will only find fault with it much to the tune of some of the 335i owners.

the S5's performance is more comparable to the 335. The M3 outperforms the S5 in every respect. In fact, if I was going the Audi route, I'd rather wait for the new supercharged S4 than take the S5 (though the S5 is a stunning car).
