33, married with three kids. I have a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, but have worked in finance for the past 10 years and have earned the right to use the CFA designation. Currently I am the Director of Portfolio Analytics for a major Asset Management firm.
This is my sixth BMW... 1) 1978 320i, owned in 1998 for the summer between high school and college 2) 1989 325i, owned for most of my college years, 1999 - 2001 3) 1991 M5, owned 2001 - 2002, purchased with earnings from a lucrative 8 month internship at IBM during college 4) 1998 M3, owned 2003 - 2006, purchased shortly after graduating college, sold to help get me into a better home to raise my growing family 5) 2007 335i (E92), owned 2008 - 2011, modded fairly extensively, Dinan suspension, LSD, tune, FMIC, some interior bits, Breyton GTS-Rs, etc. 6) 2011 M3 (E90), owned 2011 - present, only mods are euro visors and and X3 sunglasses case. I plan to keep this one for a LOOONNNGGG time. Hard for me to picture anything better for my needs and I only drive about 5k miles per year, so it should last me as long as I want it to! Non-BMW rides (no particular order, 'cuz who really cars ) 1989 Ford Escort, 2007 Honda Civic SI, 2004 Audi S4, 2002 Acura RSX

35, radiologist, active duty Army. bought my E92 M3 used (CPO 2008 with 6k) in january, traded in a 2002 996 C2 convertible. The porsche was great but the M is more comfortable, faster, and has superior braking power & stereo. First M3 was an E46 coupe purchased in 2003. That started my car illness, and since then i've bought and sold/traded an E46 M3 convertible, '04 545i (i know, weird but it was a 6MT), '06 X5 (again, weird), '07 E92 335i (loved it, gave it to ex), now back to M. i should stop now. i hope i can. u lose thousands with this behavior lol

36, civil litigation attorney, married, no kids, one dog.
I must admit that I was not a huge fan of the BMW brand growing up. But that all changed the first time I laid eyes on the e9x M3. Made it a reality last April and no regrets.

17 year old junior in high school. Own a small advertising business where I do SEO and manage websites, blogs, and do custom advertising programs for small companies.
Have had my 2008 M3 for almost a year now and put about 15,000 miles on her with no problems. I have not made it to the track yet, but I have 2 sessions already purchased. The Story: My parents needed to rebuild their credit score and I needed a car, so they cosigned a 3 year car loan with me. They used the 10k-15k that they were going to use to buy me a car as a down payment and the deal was that I am responsible for the monthly payments, gas, insurance, maintenance for the most part; They do help me out every once in a while though. I am not going to lie and pretend like I bought it 100% by myself. I am very grateful for the opportunities that I have had and that I am able to make payments on such an amazing car at a young age. I am fully aware of the cars capabilities and treat it with due respect

I think thread is funny, it sounds like a dating website:
"I'm forty-ish, male, engineer, love long walks on the beach, dogs and country line dancing."
