FS: Eisenmann Sport exhaust

Hey gents,

My old exhaust is for sale, and I want it gone. I've listed it for $1,800 in its original FS thread below:

http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?p=9190945

I'll sell it for $1,600 to any Socal local who can pick it from Manhattan Beach. I don't want the exhaust sitting around the house.

SOLD

how's the cabin noise compared to stock (say on a scale from 1-10, 1 being stock and 10 being full 3 section race system).

can this be modified to fit an e90 m3?

I haven't heard a full race system, but using this super scientific scale, I'd say it's a 4 or so.

This will fit an E90, but the tips will stick out. To my knowledge, the two exhausts are identical save for the longer tip length on the E92 system. Someone correct me if I'm mistaken.

sorry about the scale, hard to judge from vids and I haven't had a chance to hear one up close....

pretty sure it's just the tips as well, but wonder how hard it would be to modify them to get them to fit the e90 wihtout lookin like it needs a diffuser...

you basically need to cut the tips off and get new ones

I remember when I had my 335i, tip exchange labor ranged from $50 to 200 depending on where you went and what car you had (Stupid I know.. but BMWs get taxed... let alone M3s lol)

and tips... well range from what tip you want

if you want to cut the tips and re-weld, it will cost less than getting new tips

if you get a diffusor maybe you won't nee to cut the tips?

how much farther out does the E Sport tips come out versus stock?
I know with my VRS Type II, the stock tips reallly sit in

the tip size is 83mm right?

Yes, the tip diameter is 83mm. Here's a picture of the E90 and E92 exhaust side by side:

e90 looks to be more different than just the tips
look at the line between the mufflers

also:

The tips stuck out between 1-2 inches beyond the stock exhaust, if memory serves correctly.

just an FYI: spoke with Nate from IND, he said this exhaust will fit an e90, just need a shop to swap the tips out to shorter ones...
