lol. i'm not quite sure how i can be more clear about this. morr's are (unfortunately) not forged. thanks for the recommendation though.

lon, what are the specs on the rear wheel of each of those cars you posted pictures of? can you get more concave out of those wheels? if so, i'd like to run a square set up.

biglare's M3 has the deepest conical profile front and rear because his brembo brakes actually allow more shape. If you are running OE brakes, you will have to go with Medium profile up front. His setup is 19x9.5 front and 19x10.5 rear.

Tina's white S5 is 20x9 front and 20x11 rear. Front is medium profile and rear is low profile.

esquire, you looking for a lightweight wheel option?

The P40SC Series in 19" should weigh in around 20 lbs for front and 22 lbs for the rear. Which is pretty light.

OP, I have found that no pictures of any conical or concave wheel can capture how they truly look in person. I have seen hundreds of photos and none of them can do them justice. That goes for all concave and conical style wheels IMO.

What I can recommend from experience is HRE's. They have made me custom wheels with very aggressive offsets to come up with something that is very conical and created exactly the look that I was after. I know that you can play around with the wheel offset and width to produce the exact look that you are after. HRE is one of the few that can truly make custom wheels to your specs and the turn around time is quick.

Just my 2 cents!

+1 too bad there so expensive!

After all of the top-notch modifications you have made to your car it seems like a simple decision. Get some HRE's.

MORR wheels are forged.

Well at least the VS7's were for sure. They have always been very vague on directly stating the vs8's are forged.

Hi.

Carlos @ MORR was pretty darned specific that MORR's are forged in the following posting:

http://www.m3post.com/forums/showpos...2&postcount=33

Now after reading that, would you still say they aren't forged? And if you STILL think they aren't......why do you think that?

The concavity of MORR's is pretty deep on the rears. The fronts aren't very deep. But then you can do what Tightie did and put the deep ones on all four corners. Here's mine in Signature Black.

OP...I hope you are considering some of these HRE's. I am highly considering selling my RG63's and my LM-R's to get a set of these like on biglare's car.

Lon, will these deepest conical wheels work with Stoptech Trophy's ST60/ST40?

You should really clarify that statement.

3 out of 5 rotas cracked on this 8 day event.

I ran with a set of forged rims made by HRE. I didn't bring a spare. didn't need to.
Those wheels don't seem to be JWL/VIA/TUV tested/certified.
Ironically, they were replaced with a properly designed cast wheel.
Forging just allows you to use less metal. It's not any stronger than a properly designed cast wheels (that most likely weighs a little more). BBS makes plenty of cast wheels that are plenty strong.

I have owned a set of concave wheels from all the mentioned brands & BBS is m recommendation. I currently have the BBS CH-R and highly doubt i will change these for a while. Although a tad heavy compared to some, it's by far the best set up in regards to performance, balance, stance, ect. 19x9.5 and 19x10 set up.

Overall comparison, no other manufacture can offer proven track record of their technology in motor sports. Reason why European Manufactures have chosen BBS for stock set up. To spend thousands of dollars i highly recommend BBS. Also have the best ROI.
