God the M5 fart is hideous. It sounds worse than the F80, which is only good due to the loudness. Sounds like a typical 6. Blah
E90 is incredible |

I know this is opinion but the V8 in the C63 AMG sounds incredible. Like a rolling earthquake.
It has to be said though, the S65 is the best sounding V8 from BMW and sounds very different (better?) than the coming turbo I6.

S54, S14, M10/13 and M88-procar engine, best sounding engine what BMW ever made. In my opinions F80 M3 will sounds good, whit Akrapovic. It need loud exhaust because inline six very special and lound intake noise is gone.

I was passed by one years ago on the front straight at Road America. That's exactly how I would describe the sound, actually. Felt like my old M5 shivered as he passed.

E90 takes the cake. The M5 didn't have as much of a rumble as I thought. The SLS was asleep and yes Audi should have stayed home.

I really liked the way the f80 sounds, with a dualcone intake and an aftermarket exhaust itll sound beast i think. I just dont like the idea of exhaust sounds from the speakers.
