That's great news! Your PW may have changed because your car, which shows up as being "sold to customer", is given higher priority than cars that are not sold and being built by dealerships.

It's nice when your CA trusts you. My M3 is on its way here and I haven't put down any deposit at all.

That makes sense. I went in on August 15th and ordered my car from my CA. My family has bought 9 other BMWs from her so I have a good rapport with her. Car is currently on the boat on its way over.

The first CA, however, did say that they'd want a deposit if I got red chairs (I ordered black) because they appeal to fewer people. Not sure if he was kidding. |

Well I got what I thought was good news today. Website shows car being built (although I really doubt it) but has one of my options incorrect. The telephone recording still says no scheduled production date.

The website will have your options wrong for a while (or even forever). Don't sweat it as long as your CA says the build is correct.

I'd definitely check with your CA because my car showed up with all of the correct options on the 1st day the website started showing MY12 production.

My car started production listing the right colors, but the options list was wrong. By the time it finished getting built, the options list was right. Not sure if they sometimes fill it in as they go or what. But as long as your CA can show you the build sheet with the correct options, you should be ok.

My last car had the options showing up wrong, but everything turned out ok. This car has all the correct options showing up. However, before it did show up on the OC, I had called my dealer to verify and the original order did have a mistake on my trim choice (alum instead of carbon) which was quickly fixed. On status: Don't worry, the three methods are all out of synch. As of this morning, the phone system is still saying I have no confirmed production date even though production on my car started at 7:00 AM last Thursday. I found that OC lagged behind by about 24 hours from when the phone SA told me that my car was being built. The automatic phone thing is still lagging behind. |

You'll prob have to change my production number. Looks like the dealer ordered my car incorrectly. I am pissed to say the least!
