Just a tip for anyone who is calling the 800 number a lot, and got as frustrated with the voice system as I did: you can use numbers instead - '2' for production status, then key in your production number, then '1' to indicate that it was a production number ('2' to indicate a VIN).

On my iphone, I saved it as a contact with the phone number 1-800-831-1117,2,,#######,1 where ####### is my production number, so I can just just get it with one button.

Is it possible to find out retrospectively on which ship my M crossed the ocean??

I had not seen the info posted below at the time I was tracking my car so I missed it. Would love to know even more about its history.

Mine was on the Fedora too. According to the Wallenius Wilhelmsen website, it looks like it docked and left already. it arrived in NYC 7/11 and departed 7/12.

I think I'm on the Don Pasquale!

My dealer said my M3 left port on July 18 ETA Halifax July 28, same dates as Don Pasqale's voyage, can't find my VIN on W.W website though.

Anyone else on Don Pasquale?

How do you find out what ship your car is on using the Wallenius Wilhelmsen website (east coast delivery)? Assuming I have a VIN number. I poked around on the website and couldn't see how to locate the ship.

when you check your staus updates it should/will say "departed Bremerhaven on XXXX date" from there just check the list of WW vessels that left the port that day. I think there's a list of which vessels go to the East Coast vs. West Coasts ports buried somewhere in this thread....

Thank you for enabling my OCD to call the build status line too much!

But seriously, this is a great time saver and rally helps check status much more easily and discretley. My E90 is in the body shop now and should be done tomorrow.

I don't know can someone can give me the right info or what should I do. I order my E90 over 4 weeks ago, and on the bmwusa website is shows still on order, and the 1-800 said no production date set. Called my "client advisor" and he said everything looks ok. Emailed him yesterday and no responce from him. I'm about to cancel my order and get my deposit "$1000" back. When I check other people on the forum that order way after me their cars are already in production or ready to be shipped.

thanks

FWIW, i ordered about 3 weeks ago and mine is at the port awaiting a ship. HOWEVER, i've heard that the website is sketchy at best at keeping track. In fact mine still has the wrong options showing.

I'd go in and talk to the dealer and see whats up. They have a much better system for seeing the details!

Good luck!
