2013 Coupe on dealer lot?
Hi, are there any new 2013 BMW M3 coupes on dealer lots for sale? Looking for DCT and dynamic damper control.
Also, are there any incentives being offered at this time? |

Thanks -- very helpful
I understand the comments about checking cars.com, etc.
The following information was particularly helpful: "I doubt you'll get any incentives. Most are having a harder time getting below MSRP. Good luck." Hard to get this from doing inventory searches... |

My dealer portal is showing only 22 out in the West right now. None without ZCP Comp Pkg and with just EDC. Looks like you'll have to get ZCP if you want the EDC.
Edit: I checked the whole US and there is none available in that config as well. |

I bought my new 2013 M3 towards the end of June and BMWNA had offered buildout cash of $1500 on the car in addition to a $1000 drive event bonus where you feign interest in an F10 or an X3 or something and they give you an expiring credit towards a new car. None of this cut into dealer margins so I was already ahead of the game by $2500. After this, I used the opportunity to trade in my family's 1994 E34 525i which just sat there. It was in great condition with 90k miles in AW on black. They wanted to give us $500 but I got them to give me $1800 (which is still nothing really) which got me another 1500 in loyalty cash from BMWNA. So I got: 1500 buildout cash 1000 Drive event cash 1800 trade in 1500 Loyalty cash Then I started negotiating directly with the dealer after this was all cleared and added to the bottom line and finalized at $4,000 off. So I had a sticker car at 75,525 knocked down to $65,475 It went right back up though when I added the 3k maintenance package. Burn. Anyhow, my point is that there are always Manufacturer/factory incentives. Also you have to do your homework to ensure that you're not dealing with a dealer that isn't allocating all of your dealer cash towards your deal. Sometimes they have the ability to get a kickback from the dealer, however not allocate it all to the client that triggered that kickback. Also, try and finance even a tiny bit of the car if you're purchasing. Involving BMW finance will always bring price down and give them wiggle room. Even if they know you plan to pay down the whole cost of the car in the minimum payment period of 5 months. That's what I did. I put down almost all of the price in cash and financed the bare minimum at the lowest APR and by paying it off in 5 months, paid negligible interest. This adds to lowering the overall capital cost of the car. Good luck. |

That's what the telephone is for bud! Make some calls...you will quickly gauge which dealers will sell near invoice and which ones are delusional.

Also, if you have a choice, work with a dealership that sells high volume. The ones that don't clearly aren't excelling at their job. Consumers are smart - there's a reason why some dealers do far better than others and it is because they are good at selling cars at prices that consumers like. Volume sellers get so many more benefits and marketing dollars from manufacturers. Don't stop there. Much like when dealing with a professional, deal with their top sales person. This person moves cars and also has more power to make better deals because their sales mgr or GM likes them.
If anyone tries to sell any new car (especially one that is already out of production) you can go tell them to F themselves. Last of teh V8s, last of the this and that. How about throw in their face MASS PRODUCTION OLD MODEL. lol. Cars are such a commodity, I don't understand some dealers' mentality. I'd rather be the dealer moving 30 loaded 335i's a month at 2500 off each than be the one selling 10 of them at sticker a month. |
