Price was good and the communication with him was excellent. Not a deadbeat salesperson. Nope, why should I have a problem recommending someone if I feel he did his job to my liking? If you don't want to try then so be it. I'm not getting anything out of this and only trying to offer another resource.

So, just pulled the trigger on a 2013 M3! Mineral White on black, Competition, Cold Weather, Premium, NAV, Sat, BMW Apps, and of course 6MT!
The dealer I bought it from is awesome. My 3rd BMW from there so all rebates, paying my 135i off which has a lot of miles on it, AND getting it at invoice. 36 month lease, $5k down (still have to talk to the finance guy about MSD's), $734 per month. It won't get to the port until the 22nd, so the worst part is I have to wait 2 weeks! Really excited to be part of the M group. Can anyone tell me how the Alpine White and the Mineral White differ? Pics would be great. Thanks.

Thanks. Just tracked my vessel and it just got into the port in NY today! So, hopefully no delays and I should have it by next week.

I'm awaiting delivery of my ride. Wondering if any further discounts come out for it. Anyone know if they get any better? Dealer said any changes in discounts within 90 days I can take advantage of.

Just got back from my Euro Delivery appointment at the Welt. Here's what I worked out locally:
E92 M3 Coupe Alpine White Premium Package Competition Package Enhanced Premium Sound Heated Seats Highbeam Assist BMW Apps Got it for $1000 over ED Invoice @ ~$64k Loyalty + BMWFS = $2,250 off -- so the total was around $62k + sales tax. BMW said I have an 830 credit score, but they still would not honor 3.19% financing that they claim on the website. Gave me 3.79% -- doesn't matter much to me though, only took the BMWFS for the $1500+$750 deals -- I'm refinancing with Navy Federal for 1.79% in 3 months. |

Is this an okay deal?
Hi guys, I just joined this forum and this is also my first time buying a new car. I think I got a decent deal, maybe not the best, but I learned a lot and next time I'll know how to be fully prepared.
2013 E92 M3 Coupe
MSRP $83,695, selling price $89,695 with the dealer options above and things below. I got it at $3,400 over the invoice. The invoice for the car is an 8% discount from the MSRP depending how accurate the report is. With the options it's about 7.8%. At first the salesman wouldn't give me any discount but after some talking he said he'd ask his manager for 3%. I pushed for 4% and after talking to the manager it was agreed upon. I probably could've gotten 5-6%, saving an additional $850-$1700, but oh well. Hopefully it'll help me built loyalty with the dealership/salesperson in the future. Previous owners recommended the tire warranty ($1200), so I got that, and I also went with the Xzilion Paint Protection ($700). After some research I heard it's good, but I also heard you can buy it yourself for $100 and apply it - oh well, now I know for next time. It was one of the things I was not prepared for in my research. Actually I'm quite busy right now, so if it saved me a few hours (at a rate of $150/hr) of applying the Xzilion, it's not a total loss. The other thing is that the car had 90km on it. The salesperson insisted it had NOT been test driven. He seems like a trust worthy guy, was truthful with everything he told me that I could verify later, but I am still skeptical. Has anyone seen NEW cars with that many clicks on the lot? It's a 2013 model (verified VIN). I probably could've asked for even bigger discounts due to the dealer options, paint protection and suspicious 90km clicks. I'm just not the kind of person to negotiate very aggressively, and don't have many options with only one dealership nearby - BUT now I learned how the buying a new car experience goes and will make sure I get a better deal next time. So guys/gals, what do you think of $3.4k above invoice on this car? Did I get ripped off? I'm sure it's not the deal of the century, but it can't be a really bad deal either, right? Someone please tell me I got at least a decent deal for a first-time buyer. I'll be happy if I know I got a decent deal on a car like this. |

is that a complete list of all the options and packages? did you have extended leather? i ask, because your MSRP is high....assuming you got DCT, because there is no M drive package, i built your car on BMW's site at $72325. add about 2k for spoiler, mirror cap and diffusers ( i'm rounding high, 'cause i don't have retail prices with me, and i'm sure they charged you full price). that's 74325$. add in your warranty at 1200$, plus the paint and we're at $76225. so i don't know how we get to $83695. 90K on the OD seems high to me.....and i see that you're in canada, so i know the M3 is more expensive there...so, maybe someone from up north should chime in, but it seems very high. you also have to factor in that dealers are may be charging a premium for these because this month is the end of production...but, i'd still like to see your window sticker. |

Try doing the same quote at bmw.ca and you will find an "M Drive" package which includes navigation and stuff. Quote:
