questions on purchasing a used 2008 m3

I been in the market for a bit and I have found one that I am interested in and pulled a carfax report and there is a huge gap in service records. Should I be concerned?

05/30/2011 6,586 California Odometer reading reported

06/21/2011 California Title issued or updated New owner reported Loan or lien reported

12/30/2011 20,627 Dealer Inventory Vehicle offered for sale

14k of no service record...

I don't think everything the dealer does shows up on the carfax. You should get a printout of the service history from someone at BMW.
