Arrow E92/E93 M3 production until mid-late 2013. 2013 M3 model year begins July.

Hopefully this puts a stop to the unnecessary speculation and rumors.

We just reconfirmed again today at 2012 NYIAS (with BMWNA M Brand Manager, Matt Russell) that the E92 and E93 M3 WILL be produced into 2013 as a 2013 model year, which begins July.

The E92 M3 coupe will be produced until mid-2013 and the E93 M3 until a few months after the coupe stops production.

The successor M3/M4 will come as a 2014 model year car and only after all E9x models cease production.

What Matt says is the authoritative word on the NA market and more accurate than what any dealer says or what your logic/speculation may tell you.

The full interview can be read @ http://f10.m5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=672295

I would think so, however, in order not to miss out if you plan to order I would confirm it with the dealership.

You *might* get the option to buy an F80 M3 sedan in very late 2013 in Japan (along with Europe and other regions).

My location is a little mis-leading. I am just stationed in Japan temporarily and should be back in the States by 2013.

Was holding off on buying M3 until the next generation upon my return.
On a separate note, I would never buy a BMW from Japan. Other than the right -side drive, the car would be almost twice the price, not to mention the exchange rate!

Really hoping BMW kicks it up a notch and releases the next F80 M3 coupe by mid-2013 instead of 2014...

...i'll just keep wishing...

Good news to me.
Just went to a BMW dealer and looking for if there is any 2012 M3 left and finally got only $1k discount from MSRP, which made me very disappointed. But this great news do give me a lot of expectation for the last E92 M3. I just love it and want to get it.
Btw, is it same in PA?
I am looking for 2013 M3 and hope I can get one as soon as possible and within my price range

Jason, assuming early production goes to Europe/Asia, do you believe the next gen F80 M3 will be available in US around March/April 2014? Any guess when next gen F82-83 M3 would be available? I know it's a guess, but welcome your thoughts.

I'm not Jason, but I'd say there's a 0% chance they would be available in March 2014.

The E92/93 base cars will run all the way through mid 2013, then the F32/F33 can be introduced near the Fall of 2013. So there is little chance an ///M version will come less than a year after the intro of the regular series car. See F10 5-series as an example.

I think very late 2014 or early 2015 for US role out of F82 M3/M4.
